HONG KONG Travel blog
For starters, I spent my entire 2024's summer vacation which was 21 whole days in Hong Kong and it was just pure bliss. Now, you may ask how long my hotel bill would be right? Don't you worry, because my dearest mama lives in HK and the breath-taking view that you see on the left is the view from his house. And I am super grateful for having all these privileges in life.
Now, moving on, in this blog I will take you through my trip very (Taylor) swiftly😆. The image on the right is where the walking, running and the cycling track was and this was about 5km long. Trust me when I say cycling here at night in the cold breezy air was so refreshing. People there are so health conscious that on this track, day to night, people from all ages were doing some physical activity. This is something that us Indians should learn from them.
Coming to food, we definitely faced issues in finding good vegetarian options so majority of the days we ate at home only like proper roti sabzi. However, this one place called 'Ziaafat' had mouth-watering Mediterranean food, the Falafel there OMG it for sure deserved a chef's kiss. The flavours were flavour-ing!!
We also took a day- trip to Macau Island
There were these hotels whose architecture was inspired from Paris, Venice, London. The Venice one even had a boat ride just like original Venice. We had dinner at The Cheesecake Factory and the Nachos and Spaghetti was BOMB.COM. These hotels were all interconnected and had lots of luxury brands for shopping. Of course I didn't buy anything because under my budget, I could only afford a candy LOL!
Also, took a solo trip to Disneyland. At first, I was way too nervous but as I reached there, I felt like I am in my paradise. Now, my 2 intentions of visiting Disneyland were: 1) To breathe in the magical air with all Disney characters and 2)To make a reel (OFCOURSE). Sat in a few rides, roamed around and no I didn't sit on the roller-coaster call me a 'Fattu' IDC!
Oh let's not forget the parade of Mickey Mouse's team, Toy Story characters and many more. They were all so lively and cheerful while dancing to the beats of The Disney song. At 9:30 PM sharp, everyone gathered near the castle waiting for the fireworks to start. I didn't understand the hype until the fireworks began and I witnessed them with my own eyes. I had happy tears because it was genuinely the best thing I had ever seen in my life.
Anyways, that's all for my lil Travel blog, hope y'all like it:)
